Ingredients
- 2 C packed brown sugar
- 2 C ketchup
- 1 C water
- 1 C cider vinegar
- 1 C finely chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 C corn syrup
- 1 C molasses
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T garlic pepper blend
- 1 T liquid smoke flavoring (optional)
- 1 T prepared mustard
- 1 t onion salt
- 1 t celery salt
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes
- Remove from the heat.
- Let cool.
- Use a basting brush to apply to the meat.
